A little ballet. A lot of candles. And a story that began in 2010.
The beginning
From the stage to the studio.
Before there were candles, there was ballet. Founder Paul Bruschi spent years as a professional ballet dancer before trading the stage for an entirely different kind of creative pursuit.
When it came time to name the company, the connection was almost too perfect. Inspired by "Jack" jumping over the candlestick, Jack Be Nimble brought together Paul's background in dance and his newfound craft. What began in 2010 has since grown into an Atlanta-based fragrance brand, with every candle still poured by hand.
Made slowly, with intention
Paul had always loved candles, but the idea for Jack Be Nimble started with a surprisingly simple question:
Why not make my own? The freedom to create exactly the fragrances he wanted quickly became something much bigger.
Today, every Jack Be Nimble candle is still hand-poured in our Atlanta studio in small batches of just twelve, using American-grown soy wax, cotton wicks, and fine fragrance oils. It's a deliberately hands-on process—one that allows us to pay attention to the details from the first pour to the finished candle.
