Additional Policies
Heat & Weather Conditions
Our candles are made from 100% soy wax, which can be sensitive to extreme heat. While we package carefully to minimize the risk, we are not responsible for heat-related damage once your order leaves our facility. If you live in a warmer climate or are ordering during the summer months, we strongly recommend selecting an expedited shipping option.
Order Changes & Cancellations
We begin processing orders quickly to ensure timely shipping. Once an order is placed, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations. Please double-check your shipping address and order details before submitting your purchase.
Custom & Limited-Edition Products
Custom orders, private-label candles, and limited-availability collections are considered final sale. These products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, except in cases of shipping damage reported within the stated time frame.
Coupon codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively once an order is placed. Only one promotion code may be used per order.
Fraud Protection & Order Verification
Unfortunately, online fraud is a growing issue for small businesses. This policy helps us keep our prices fair, protect honest customers, and safeguard Jack Be Nimble from fraudulent transactions.
Some orders may be flagged by Shopify’s fraud analysis system. If your order is flagged, we will attempt to contact you once by email and/or phone to verify your information.
If we are unable to reach you using the contact details provided at checkout, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a refund. This step ensures that neither you nor our business is put at risk.
Please note:
- We only ship to the billing address associated with your payment method, or to another verified shipping address.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date contact and payment information at checkout.
- Jack Be Nimble reserves the right to deny or cancel any order if we are unable to confidently verify its legitimacy.

Corporate & Bulk Gifting Terms
Payment
Payment is required prior to or at pickup unless payment terms have been approved in advance. Orders will not be released until payment has been received.
Credit Card Payments
Credit card payments made remotely through an online invoice or payment link are subject to a 4% processing fee. For qualifying orders paid by credit card in person at our Chamblee studio, the processing fee may be waived at our discretion.
ACH & Check Payments
ACH and check payments are accepted with no processing fee. Checks should be made payable to Jack Be Nimble Candles, LLC. Payment by check must be received prior to or presented at the time of pickup.
Production & Lead Times
Please allow a minimum of 7 business days for standard corporate and bulk gifting orders. Larger orders, custom-branded projects, or specialty products may require additional production time. Orders requested with fewer than 7 business days' notice are subject to availability and may incur a $100 rush production fee.
Custom & Branded Orders
Custom or branded projects may require a deposit before production begins. Deposit requirements and the remaining balance will be outlined in the individual project quote or invoice. Custom production will not begin until any required deposit and final project details have been received and approved.
Pickup & Shipping
Orders may be picked up by appointment at our Chamblee studio. A pickup date and time must be coordinated in advance. Shipping is also available and will be quoted separately based on the size, destination, and requirements of the order.
Order Changes
Once production has begun, changes to quantities, fragrances, packaging, customization, or requested completion dates may not be possible and may result in additional charges.
Final Sale
Corporate, bulk, and custom orders are considered final sale once production has begun. Because these orders are produced specifically for each project, cancellations may be subject to charges for work completed and materials already committed.
